AUTO-MTS BELLA Fractional Micro-needle Therapy
What is fractional micro-needle therapy?
AUTO-MTS BELLA is a safe and effective method of fractional micro-needle therapy based on the skin’s self-renewal capacity. This unique technology is very effective in inducing the formation of collagen and elastin fibers. The method can be combined with your own plasma or hyaluronic acid serum. The active substances get directly into the deep layers of the skin. A doctor can set the exact depth for the instrument and the rate that needles making tiny punctures in the skin at a 90 degree angle penetrate.
Is the procedure painful?
Before the procedure, an anesthetic cream is always administered, so the actual treatment is painless.
What are the benefits from therapy?
Its efficacy can be compared to treatment with a fractional laser or deep chemical peels, but with an incomparably shorter downtime and much safer. The mechanism behind the healing of minor wounds is a natural process. The first phase leads to an inflammatory response (1-3 days) with a chemotactic response from cells and a proliferation of fibroblasts. Platelets are activated. During the second phase (3-5 days), fibroblasts, monocytes and keratinocytes continue to proliferate, creating the base for new tissue and new collagen fibers. The third phase (5-20 days) sees the release of growth factors and fibroblasts releasing collagen.
What are the indications?
What would I see after the procedure?
Immediately after the procedure you can expect skin redness, slight swelling and visible tiny dots at the injection sites. The degree of erythema (redness) depends on the depth and "aggressiveness” of treatment. After 12 hours any flaws can be concealed with mineral makeup designed for sensitive skin. In 3 days these marks should disappear.
How should I care for my skin after the procedure?
Immediately after the procedure, your doctor will treat your skin. At home, wash it with clean water or micellar water intended for sensitive skin. On the day of the procedure, do not use any chemical UV filter lotions because undesirable chemicals could penetrate into the deep layers of the skin. Avoid the sun for at least 10 days after treatment, though on days following the procedure you can use creams with a 50+ protection factor. The skin will be dry and taut the first 3 days. Therefore, hydrate the skin several times a day with a suitable skin moisturizer, although hyaluronic acid serum is also appropriate. 3 days later you can return to conventional products, while integrating Vitamin A serum into care is adequate, too. Avoid alcohol-based products for 14 days.
How many treatments need to be completed?
The total number varies from person to personand depends on the diagnosis to be treated. It is advisable to undergo at least 3 treatments.
