Wax/Sugar depilation

Wax/sugar waxing is the easiest way to achieve smooth and soft, hair-free skin. The effect of soft skin lasts for 3 to 5 weeks, but the lasting effect is individual for everyone. The warm wax and also the warm sugar paste removes the hair even with the roots, so that after regular repetition, the hair density is reduced, the hairs are lighter and softer to the touch. This avoids the various sharp razor blades that leave unsightly marks. Both waxing and sugar waxing are suitable not only for ladies, but also for men, who are bothered by body hair in some areas.

At Dermarevolt, waxing can be done in all locations in the same way as with laser hair removal:

  • eyebrows, ears, sideburns, upper lip, chin, neck, nape of the neck
  • shoulders, armpits (axillae), forearms, whole hands,
  • chest, nipples, back, abdomen, linea alba, sacrum
  • bikini line and bikini set, ass,
  • thighs, calves, shins, whole legs, knees, shins and toes

Depilation with sugar paste is recommended especially in locations such as:

  • shoulders, armpits (axillae), forearms, whole hands,
  • chest, nipples, back, abdomen, linea alba, sacrum
  • thighs, calves, shins, whole legs, knees, shins and toes

How should I prepare for waxing?
The length of the hairs to be waxed is important for waxing. The ideal and minimum length of the hair should be 4mm. However, ladies who have just menstruated may feel more sensitive about epilation. This preparation is necessary before both waxing and sugar waxing.

How does the hair removal work?
Apply depilatory wax in the direction of the hair growth to the area where the unwanted hair is, and it is important to apply it at the correct temperature. When waxing with sugar paste, apply against the hair growth. Make sure that the wax is not too hot and does not burn you. However, it must also not be cold, as it will not remove all the hairs. Next, we attach the waxing paper, which we use to cut the hair in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Finally, we treat the skin with a special post-depilation oil. This will remove any wax or sugar residue from the skin and soothe it at the same time. The risk of ingrown hairs and inflammation is significantly lower compared to shaving with a razor or epilating razor.

Are there any contraindications to waxing or sugaring?
Depilation itself also has certain limitations. We do not recommend it for the following diseases:

  • inflammation and damage to the skin in the area where the procedure will be performed (cold sores, wounds, bruises and abscesses, purulent deposits)
  • not suitable for diabetes
  • diseases of the cardiovascular system
  • blood clotting disorders
  • problems with varicose veins.
