Lenisna is a hybrid collagen biostimulator, combining poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) microspheres and cross-linked hyaluronic acid in a single treatment.
While the hyaluronic acid hydrates and restores volume immediately after the injection, the PDLLA microspheres work gradually, prompting the tissue to build its own collagen. The skin does not simply gain volume from outside – it rebuilds its own structure. The result therefore appears slowly and looks natural.
Who is the treatment for?
We recommend Lenisna from around the age of 30, when loss of volume, reduced firmness and changing facial contours begin to show. It also suits thin, lax skin on the neck, décolleté or backs of the hands.
Which areas do we treat?
Most often the cheeks, jawline, chin, temples and nasolabial folds. The neck, décolleté and backs of the hands can also be treated.
How does the treatment work?
The product is injected into the subcutaneous layer at targeted points using a fine needle or cannula. We apply an anaesthetic cream beforehand, so the treatment is well tolerated. You can return to normal activities almost immediately.
When will I see the result and how long does it last?
Hydration and a subtle smoothing are visible straight after the treatment – that is the hyaluronic acid at work. Your own collagen begins to show from around the second week and keeps improving for several months. The effect usually lasts 12 to 24 months.
How many sessions are needed?
In most cases we recommend 2–3 sessions about 8 weeks apart. The exact number is set after an examination, based on the condition of your skin and the size of the treated area. A maintenance session is usually repeated every 12 to 24 months.
