Fractional Microneedling Radiofrequency

Fractional microneedling radiofrequency is based on the skin's natural ability to regenerate itself. It is a non-invasive way of stimulating new collagen production in the skin, leading to overall firming and rejuvenation of the complexion, smoothing out skin irregularities and reducing wrinkles.

However, these microneedles are effective not only against aesthetic imperfections but also dermatological ones. They play an important role in treating unsightly scars and acne marks, hyperpigmented patches, enlarged pores and stretch marks, and can also help treat the marks left by burns.

How does the Vivace device work?
During the procedure, very fine microneedles are inserted into the skin at a 90-degree angle using a pen-like device, reaching directly into the collagen fibres. The doctor can adjust the exact depth and speed of needle penetration on the device, depending on the specific treatment. For an even more pronounced effect, this therapy can be combined with the patient's own plasma or a hyaluronic acid serum.

The effect itself is comparable to fractional laser or chemical peels, but with a significantly shorter healing time and greater safety. The healing process of the tiny punctures is a natural one. In the first phase, an inflammatory reaction occurs (1-3 days), triggering a chemotactic cellular response and fibroblast proliferation. Platelets become activated. During the second phase (days 3-5), proliferation of fibroblasts, monocytes and keratinocytes continues. A foundation of new tissue and new collagen fibres begins to form. In the third phase (days 5-20), growth factors are released and fibroblasts release collagen

Skin care after the procedure
Immediately after the procedure, your skin will be treated by the doctor. We recommend cleansing the skin with plain water or a micellar water suitable for sensitive skin. On the day of the procedure, we do not recommend using a cream containing chemical UV filters, to prevent them from penetrating the deeper layers of the skin. It is important to avoid sun exposure for at least 10 days; on subsequent days, you can protect your skin from the sun using a cream with SPF 50+. For the first 3 days, the skin may feel tight, so moisturise it several times a day with a suitable moisturising cream or hyaluronic acid serum.

How many treatments are needed?
This is very individual, and the total number depends on the condition being treated. However, a minimum of 3 treatments is generally recommended.
